Princess

Princess lives with her family, which includes her mother, father, and two elder brothers in their modest home. Her mother works as a casual laborer, to provide food for the family. Her father, unable to find employment nearby, works as a security guard in a different county. The family’s combined earnings are insufficient to cover all their needs, often forcing difficult choices between paying rent and buying food.

Despite these hardships, Princess remains hopeful and dedicated to her education. She cherishes the few books her parents have bought her and uses them to study at home, holding on to the hope that one day she will be able to attend school full-time. Princess particularly enjoys studying English and Kiswahili and speaks both languages well for her age.

At home, she helps her mother with house chores and has developed a fondness for cooking. She can prepare basic meals, with chapatti and meat being her favorite. Princess also loves playing with her best friend and other neighborhood children, often engaging in games like hide and seek.

An artistic and creative soul, Princess is captivated by the color purple, which she frequently uses in her drawings. She finds joy in listening to music and dancing, learning new moves from her school’s dance team, even though she is not a member yet. Getting a sponsor will allow her to fulfill her dreams.

She dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up, driven by a desire to help others in need. She understands the value of education and knows it is the key to achieving her goals. Princess’s story is one of resilience and unwavering hope, a testament to her strong spirit and determination to overcome the challenges she faces.

Despite these hardships, Bevine is a beacon of hope and determination. She cherishes reading and spends her time immersed in the few books she owns, believing that education is the key to a successful future. English and mathematics are her favorite subjects, and she excels in them whenever she gets to attend school. Her academic prowess is complemented by her talent in athletics, where she stands out as one of the best athletes in her school.

Bevine’s social nature makes her well-liked among her peers. She enjoys playing with her best friend, who lives just a few blocks away, and other neighborhood friends. Cats are her favorite pets; she adores their soft fur and cleanliness.
