Brian is currently 14 years old. He is in high school, form one. He is the youngest member of his family, which consists of five members, including his two elder brothers. The family resides in one of the slums in Nairobi in a double-room rental house. They do not have access to their own water source, so they purchase water, and they share a bathroom and a pit latrine with other tenants in their living area.
Since joining the program, Brian has benefited from various educational and life skills support. These include programs related to computer skills, life skills, sexual and reproductive health education, drug and substance abstinence, and mental health support.
Brian has a clear aspiration for his future. He aims to become a mechanical engineer, which is a
promising career goal. By getting a sponsor, he has the potential to work toward achieving his dreams and making a positive impact on his life and community.
