Isaack

Isaack lives with his uncle, aunt, and his two siblings. This is after the demise of both of his parents. Isaac and his family live in a single room made out of old iron sheets and timber. The house has been separated into two by a curtain where on the front part is the living room while the other part contains a bed which the aunt and uncle sleep on while Isaack and his two siblings sleep on a mattress which is spread on the floor during the night. The single room has been furnished with an old couch just after the door, and a table at the center which Isaack uses when doing his studies.
Isaack does well in school, he has been doing well in all his subjects and has shown that he is a bright boy, however, he is distracted in his studies as he is in and out of school due to school fees arrears. He has big dreams too which he would love to accomplish after his studies. His aunt and uncle don’t have permanent and well-paying jobs hence they have to survive on casual labor to provide for the family.
However, these casual jobs are not promised, making it even harder to both provide for the family all basic needs as well as keep Isaack and his siblings in school. Isaack is a determined boy, very observant, and well-reserved. His favorite subjects are English and Kiswahili. During his leisure time, he loves playing football with his friends, both at school and at home. His favorite food is ugali and vegetables. After he successfully completes school he would love to be a medical doctor.
