Morgan

Waithaka a village in Dagoretti Constituency is a small community made up of many families from different classes. Morgan’s family is one of the families living in this neighborhood. He has been attending school at “Dada’s” Community Centre. Morgan lives with both his parents and two elder sisters.
Morgan loves being in school but has been forced to be in and out of school due to financial constraints , this is after his father lost his job and fell into depression. They live in a double room, made from iron sheets and timber. The living room, room is furnished with two old seats, an analog television, a table, and an old, worn-out mattress at the corner of the house. This is the same mattress that Morgan and her sister use to sleep on while her elder sister sleeps on the couch while the parents sleep on the only bed in the house in the other room. They share a toilet and a bathroom with 5 other neighbors in the rental plot.
Apart from his studies Morgan is a lover of art, he loves drawing with a passion, well this is also reflected in his best subject in creative arts and agriculture. His favorite food is Chapati and Beef stew. When he is done with school he either wants to be an Aeronautical Engineer or an Artist. Morgan believes in his dreams and himself as well. He is determined to succeed and be a better version of himself.
