
He and his family live in the slums that inhabit a large population. Victor lives with both of his parents and five other elder siblings. He is the last born of his four siblings. They live in a double room made out of timber and Iron sheets, the living room is furnished with a couch, an analog television, a table, and a cupboard where they keep their utensils. The living room has a bed in one corner where Victor sleeps and shares a bed with his brother. The living room as well serves as their kitchen space, the other room serves as the bedroom. They share a toilet and a bathroom with several other neighbors.
The mother is a casual laborer, while the father does juakali jobs to help provide for their families, these jobs, however, cannot be dependent on since they are not promised, most are the times when things are hard and jobs are hard to come by, little they both get is barely enough to cater for every need they have. Getting Victor’s school fees has been a great challenge, thus Victor’s education has been compromised despite him being a smart student. His mother mentions that the only thing that Victor needs is support to be in school consistently, this will mean that he will exceedingly do well in his studies and be the person he wants to be as well as transform his life.
Victor is a vibrant boy, his favorite subjects are English and Hygiene. His hobbies are playing ball games together with his friends from school and home. He also loves drawing. His favorite food is “Chapatti” and Beans. When he is of age and completes his studies he would love to be a Dentist.
