
Board Member
Tanvir was elected to the board in April 2026. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Cumbria. He brings 20 years of experience leading technology-enabled programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa, working at the intersection of digital transformation, mobile innovation, and international development. He has led and supported the design, deployment, and scaling of digital solutions in collaboration with governments, donors, startups, technology partners, and development organisations. His experience includes digital health, data-for-development, partnerships, programme strategy, and responsible use of technology to improve organisational effectiveness and impact. He currently works as an independent consultant based in Nairobi, providing programme architecture and digital strategy advisory services to development organisations.
Responsibilities at NRCF
Role: Tanvir Chairs the Technology Committee that assists the NRCF Board in fulfilling its strategic oversight and advisory guidance on the use of technology across NRCF and FoNR to ensure systems, data, and digital investments effectively support programs, donors, operations, and organizational goals.
Why he is involved in NRCF
Tanvir is passionate about helping organization and companies scale their operation through viable digital strategies. He is also passionate about mentoring youth in tech and entrepreneurship. He wants to ensure the organization is more sustainable in the long run by leveraging technology and AI to drive tangible results
