
Donor and Communications Manager
Naomi Miezwa is the Manager of Engagement and Experience at Friends of Ngong Road. She focuses on building the systems, structures, and touchpoints that shape how sponsors and donors experience the organization. Ensuring that engagement is thoughtful, consistent, and closely tied to impact.
Her work sits at the intersection of donor engagement, project management, and operational execution, supporting both day-to-day connection and long-term organizational effectiveness. She works closely with leadership and partners in both the U.S. and Kenya to align communication, reporting, and engagement strategies that support shared goals and program success.
She brings nearly fifteen years of nonprofit experience, with a career rooted in community engagement and relationship-building. Naomi began her career as an advocate for victims of sexual violence and held various other positions through the years, leading to nonprofit management. In 2021, she started as the Donor Relations Associate at Friends of Ngong Road. Across these roles, she developed a strong foundation in engaging individuals in mission-driven work, creating a natural pathway into donor and sponsor engagement..
Naomi is deeply mission-focused and enjoys strengthening the relationship between the organization, its students, sponsors, and donors.
