Evaluation Advisor
Ashley Boat, Ph.D. is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Northstar Evaluation, where she helps nonprofit organizations strengthen their evaluation, learning, and impact measurement practices. She is an applied developmental scientist with expertise in youth development, education, social capital, mentoring, and developmental relationships. Ashley previously served as a Senior Research Scientist at Search Institute, where she led research and evaluation initiatives focused on understanding the relationships, experiences, and opportunities that help young people thrive. Through her work with Friends of Ngong Road, Ashley provides strategic guidance on measurement, learning, data use, and impact communication to support the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
