Mirithu Girls

Girls in class at Mirithu
Girls in class at Mirithu

Mirithu Girls has around 700 students. Each class has three streams (or groups of girls) with around 45 to 50 students per stream. We have fifteen girls from our program in this school.

The school is located in the outskirts of Nairobi at a place called Limuru. Compared to the other areas in Kenya this is considered to be a cold area. It has a big compound with a very big field and cooler weather than the rest of Nairobi area.

Mirithu Girls  is a provincial school. Provincial schools are the middle tier schools of government-assisted schools. We are very pleased to have so many of our girls at this school.
