Godfrey Otieno is 20 years old. He was born on 7th January 2001 and joined the program on 2nd December 2010. In January 2011, he joined one of our focused schools Jagiet Academy. He has benefited from quality education, medical, basic computer applications, life skills training, career development, sexual reproductive health programs, and community programs. He did his KCPE (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) and he passed scoring 283/500. He, thereafter, joined Parklands High School for his secondary education. He did well in his KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) and scored a grade of C-. He joined Nairobi Bar School for his post-secondary education to pursue a diploma course in mixology. His sponsor was recently abjured. Godfrey stays with his younger sister and father in an iron build house in satellite slums. His father runs a small business selling second-hand clothes and at the time he does farming at their rural home to sustain the family. However, this seems not to be enough for the family. They prepare their meals using a kerosene stove and shares bathrooms and toilets with other tenants. Godfrey is a polite and focused student in academics. He an above average student. He aspire one day to be a barista working in a high end coffee shops.
