Wycliffe's Story:

I am 15 years old and I was born the only boy in my family. I have four sisters who are young and they really need my help because I am the only elder brother that can take good care of them. All my parents are still alive and I am very thankful to God because He gave me such wonderful parents to take good care of us as a family.

I am also very happy that God gave me such wonderful sisters whom I can tell anything and understand and also correct them when they have gone the wrong way. I am very happy that I have some of my best friends who will tell me what is wrong and what is right and they also not make me feel lonely all the time. They are friends who will never turn their back to you when you are in problems.I am very happy I finished my primary education. I struggled a lot because it is not easy to conduct yourself in primary school in eight years until you finish.

In school you meet many challenges starting with the friends you meet there because some will be good characters and others bad so it will be a challenge to get rid away with the bad characters who will lead you to bad company. That’s why they say a friend in need is a friend indeed so you should know who to choose to be your friend.

I have tried my best to conduct myself very well up to now that I am in high school and I really want God to guide me not to get onto bad temptation so that I can finish my education in a peaceful way which I will not regret later after I had gone wrong. I am very sorry for those who usually see their life as meaningless so they end up getting on drugs or in bad company and also they commit suicide.

I am very happy about Ngong Road Children Association and the way they have given me good opportunity to continue with my education until when I will finish.  Now I am in Form One and really hope to go far so that I can satisfy my future.
